Hi,

In my quest to save ourselves some money I came up with the thought of maybe cancelling our movie package for a month - £18 (I think).

Does anyone else unsubscribe from time to time and then subscribe again just to save the odd few pence/pounds?

Is it easy to do? Is it worth it?

We are regular movie watchers. It's difficult to get a babysitter sometimes so it's our little outlet.

but do you watch 5/6 recent films a month?

local dvd hire shop is 3/3.50 per night, or you can get cheapy films on virgin media - some are even free.....

Why don't you just ring them up and ask what deals or savings they can do for you.

I did this last week, because OH became unemployed and we were going to cancel the tv, but i just said to them that we were finding what we had a bit expensive and they straight away said, we can give you a discount of £10 a mth for the next 3 mths.

£10 is £10, so i took it. So you could get your movie package for £8 maybe???

Personally i've never had the movie package as i find it expensive, id much rather do the dvd rentals online, that way you choose the package you want and can keep the films for as long as you like.
