    Thanks Karma67

Just placed an order for mine, that's one thing dealt with instead of being left until the last moment.

I got mine at Marks and Spencer last year. You still get 48 or so tags but you can have as many names as you like. I have 2 kids so 24 of each was plenty. Cant remember price but was reasonable and ironed on - still on one year later!

If you have not got a really long surname and have two kids, what I do is put the one first name, followed by surname then other childs first name, that way you can use them for both children and still get 48 tags as they are generous with the amount of letter you have.
So my daughter gets her tag with first name then surname, and son gets his, surname then first name.
Or an even crafter way is to just use your surname twice or even three times and then cut each tag into three indiviual ones.
    Hope thats makes sense.

Thanks for that idea, ordered set with older daughters name followed by youngest - all fitted within 1 label. I will cut in half (I sometimes find them a bit long anyway!)

Even better idea choose your childrens names all starting with the same initial lol.

Both my children's names start with the same letter so i just order initial and surname.

I didn't name my children with the same letter just to save money on name tags lol.

Just have had a telephone call about my order.....don't allow 2 lots of names on one tag - ended up going with the surname only (not a common surname at school so any lost property should still find it's way back). Oh well, it was worth a try.

Sorry that happened to you boiler man.
Just got my order from able-direct and they printed two names on mine with no problems, link is below
    http://www.shopcreator.com/mall/productpage.cfm?store=AbleLabels&productid=NT&did=21844

Only requirement is max of 30 characters, and price is 72 lables for £3.95 p+p is £1.50, so about the same value as the asda ones, plus they will print two names on one.

Stressedoutmum - did you ask in-store regarding your M&S iron-on tags or did you order them from some special place? I have not seen this advertised in my local store and the iron on ones would be so much better than the sew in type. My daughter has two boys, and the pen marker she has just seems to fade with washing.
