Looking forward to this now! I have a baking fetish at the mo but as we're on diets OH's work gets most of the treats (one of the girls didn't like mince pies so I'm doing the apple for her now!)

or grate them, then they'll cook quickly. either skin on or off, depending on your preference. or combine with some larger m-waved chucks.
BTW grated eating apple is nice added to mincment, some bought mincemeats are oversweet.
