Hi,
I just tried out the Ariel dosing calculator. It recommends 155ml powder with med soil and soft water area, actually I think we're medium. I use about a third of that and my laundry comes out clean. I'm not surprised people have skin problems with biological powders if they are following these amounts!

I think the previous contributor got mixed up with the amount of detergent needed.
I live in a soft water area, and am using the powder in a normal size washing machine and it tells me to use 115ml. That sounds more realistic.
This is with clothes with visible stains, so I shall see if it sorts my washing out.0
