After doing some searching around we are going to stay in Santa Susanna, there were several hotels for around £30 per night (so £200 for 2 rooms for three nights half board) all of which seem to get reasonable reviews on tripadvisor etc. Ryanair offer a coach transfer to the resort for around 8euros. As we also want to do some sightseeing there is a train link to Barcelona which will be around 5 euros and an hour on the train.0
