Boots 100 points on New pure moisture

Tried my card in the Boots Advantage card machine yesterday at the big city store in Chester, seems to be a mixture if some of the new and some old offers.
It gave me a 100 points voucher for Boots New Pure moisture range including moisture cream bath, body wash and body lotion. This voucher came quite near the end but if you go straight through to "washing" on the screen it might be there.
I checked the shelf and some items seemed to be £1.14, not bad with 100 points added.Other things on the shelf were half price down to 99p. I picked up what turned out to be the wrong item because it scanned at £1.99 at the till. The lady went to the shelf and brought me the right item and the shelf label. So the Boots Pure moisture refreshing bodywash in a blue bottle went through for 99p and 100 points!
Sadly only got 2 bottles. She didnt replace the shelf label so I couldnt stand my ground with another assisitant if it went through at £1.99 at another till. Also checked the other Boots in Chester and no half price shelf label. Kids were mithering by this stage as well!
(It cost me breakfast in BHS, two magazines, a CD and an xbox game yesterday in bribes and the oldest child aged nearly 50 is the worst)
But I am going to check my smaller Boots today (emphasis on the "MY" if anyone is thinking of shopping this morning!)
Anyone else found this?
OK its not a very glamourous range but it does for everyday use and also another useful tombola prize. Cant remember what the £1.14 item was but it might make a nice set.
And the 100 points for a 99p spend is much appreciated!

Well I tried our little Boots and no shelf edge label about half price 99p bottles. They were trying to serve everyone at the Chemist counter again so I couldnt get anyone to do a scan for me.
Beginning to wonder if this was a fluke.

Nope, not a fluke!

In my Boots the shelf label on the body washes was £1.99, but underneath the blue one it said 1/2 price, 99p. So I grabbed 2, and a voucher (for some reason, the machine offered me this voucher twice...
). The first time, the bottle scanned at £1.99, I queried it, and then it scanned at 99p! The till assistant didn't know what was going on, but I was happy. :j Will go back for some more next week.
Thanks Mary :T0 -
Weird, went to a different Boots and they were all £1.99. What's going on?

Oh, maybe they were 99p before the AC vouchers began, and some stores just forgot to remove the labels?0 -
Just wanted to say that this still works in some (probably not many) Boots stores. The one I went to yesterday had the blue body wash bottles on clearance (big red 99p clearance stickers), but on the shelf with the rest of the range. The extra point voucher worked no problem

Annoyingly, lots of reduced Mediterranean stuff as well :rolleyes:0 -
this worked for me today, price on the shelf 99p but scanned through at £1.99 queried it and till assistant checked the shelf and put them through at 99p handed over a voucher and somehow got 400 points (i only brought 2 ) assistant laughted and said we wont query that :TAMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0066

:j I went to Boots at the Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow and found 2 bottles of the blue puremoisture range and they were reduced to 99p....I got 2 vouchers from the machine and proceded to the cash desk. The young girl at the check out was giving me grief...she said that the voucher was only for the new range and that the reduced bottles were the old range.. Anyway to cut a long story short the assistant next to her said just to try putting the voucher through and it worked!!! I got my 2 bottles for £1.98 and they credited my advantage card with 200points....another good days shopping at Boots. I also picked up pink/blue flower gift bags on special for bogof @ 12p each. They had other ones fcuk @ 24peach also sanctuary bags@24p ......Happyshopping0

Tried it today - doesn't work sadly - 3 bags 48p on 3 for 2. However used the 200pts voucher in Mag for Boots No 7 and the £5 voucher for No 7, Ruby etc - got a propelling lip pencil - Boots paid me £1 to take it away. Kept the Sanctuary bags - as often see reduced items in that range - so can make up nice pressie.0
