Are you one of these people that click on those ads e.g jackpot joy where it says you can win loads of money??? If you are one of those people then I suggest you phone your ISP and disconnect your internet. You’re a danger to yourself!!
I had to chuckle at that! :cool:Tightwad. And proud of it!

shame they dont give away free common sense0

I suppose you are one of the poor unfortunates who gave out his bank account details in response to an email saying if you did you could have 10% share of the £25M that someone wanted your help to move out of the country?
And then cried when your bank account got cleared out?0 -
I've used cbfsms for about 4 years and all i've had out of it is hundreds of free texts. There's nothing wrong with it other than sometimes u have to wait in a queue. If u know how to use it then you can avoid peak times. I use it on my uni pc's too. You aren't bombarded by advert's, one advert pops up every time u press send and that's it, they don't stay on your pc and keep popping up and popping up so there must be something else wrong with ur PC, probably from one of the other 'freebie' sites u've clicked on :-p
Best thing about it is it has a delivery report so u can tell when the person gets it so they can't lie hehe0 -
The Poster likes complaining shame he was at the back of the queue when giving out brains

Commonsense is a rarity these days and theres always some people who think its someone else responsibility to check things out before handing out personnel data, they surely must work for government0 -

But the best advise would be to never never NEVER use your direct debit card online (I've been hit by fraud myself after using my DD card). Always use a credit card, that way it will never affect to your day-to-day account should things go wrong. Plus, credit card companies tend to have more power and autonomy when it comes to online fraud:-
For example, if you notice a dodgy transaction on your credit card you call the cc company and they should (!) say "No problem, we'll cancel the transaction, and reimburse your card and investigate"
From your bank you will get: "you need to report this to the police who will fill out a fraudulent transaction form and give you a reference number. You then need to fill in one of our forms with the police reference and we will investigate." Usually two months later you will get your money back.
Also, if you find yourself about to be charged a different amount than you thought, and cannot find a cancel button on the screen, DO NOT hit the back/reload buttons, simple close your broswer and keep an eye on your credit card account. Report any unusual debits if any occur.
In short. Beware, and use a credit card.
Hope this helps.
Miles.
Plus if a transaction is incorrect/fraudulent etc then the credit card company accepts liability as much as the person who made the transaction which doesn't happen with banks so it makes them a lot more ameanable to helping out with fraud.0 -

I had same problem with the same dvd site. Ordered 3 and charged for 10. I went through with it, but I struggled to find anything decent or had not seen. The last film I had was a later release,(I had missed it at pictures) so by the time it got back to them it was 1 day late according to them and they charged me another £19.99. I had already cancelled my account 2 weeks before the 90 days were up so I would not be charged another £20 but this did not make any difference they still took it. So I was pushed into getting more. If you dont have anything in your list you get bombarded with e-mail telling you to keep choosing. Not on your life. Once bitten twice shy 3 times downright stupid.I won't be dealing with them again, No customer service.Only out to get your money.0

I usually wait until a few people have posted on the thread before I take up a freebie - there are usually some very nice people who will point out dodgy freebies for the sake of all those gullible and naive people like me!0
