Pension Help Needed

The company my missus works for recently got bought out by a large well know firm and they gave her the chance to join their company pension scheme.
She decided to join and they started taking payments out of her wages every month.
However shes never had any paper work, key facts illustrations, illustrations or anything from them.
Now shes leaving the company she wants details on the pension and she can't get to speak to anyone on the phone and doesn't get replies to her emails.
What can she do??
I believe the fund is invested with Legal and General.

    Good decision.

You only get key features illustrations and documents on personal pensions. Is the pension a group scheme, final salary/defined benefit scheme of a company money purchase scheme?

She should contact the personnel dept of her company in most cases. If its a group personal pension then she can deal with L&G directly as well.

  • Hi Dunstonh - thanks for the reply.

The only paperwork she claims she has EVER had was a opt out form and a 5 page print out on what funds the money was going to be invested in.

So we've no idea if its a group scheme or final salary scheme.

She works for the Priory group.

This suggests it was either an occupational money purchase or a group personal pension scheme.

She could always try calling L&G but the first stop should be the HR Dept..
    Trying to keep it simple...;)
  • And they say financial advisers talk in a lingo no one can understand.

Took me 5 mins just to suss HR stands for human resources.
