Natwest have invited me to a financial review

Natwest have invited me to a financial review on saturday, do you reckon i should still go  , (Not Likely) they would like to see if they can reduce my costs and see if they can reduce the interest rate on my loan.

I guess the OR hasn't written to them yet.

Also got a rather abrupt letter from RBS today, just stating my name, address and account number and saying please contact my office urgently to discuss your account. i thought i would just send them a copy of my BR statment to keep them quite, what do you reckon?
Life is like a game of Snakes & Ladders, i almost made it to the top but now i'm at the bottom again and its a very long ladder to the top. I had it all and now its gone
Well my 6 years are now up, now to start to rebuild my life again

If Natwest are offering a free lunch then go!
Then mention BR right at the end!
  • Its up to you whether you contact RBS, personally though i'd save the stamp money. They'll find out soon enough.

Just wondering if Nat West are still offering the free bottle of wine that they were a while back. You got it if they couldn't help reduce your payments/save you money....now that would be worth it:D
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

I think I'd rather go without the 'free' lunch than attend what will, after all, be an attempt by NatWest to 'sell' you services that you don't need, and would probably get cheaper elsewhere anyway.
If NW had been more concerned about your financial affairs beforehand, then, as I told HSBC, maybe they could have helped you to avoid bankruptcy.

If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Yes i know, too true. I did actually approach natwest many years ago for some help as i wanted to consolidate all my debts into one loan, back then it was probably in the region of £10-12k but they were not interested but the sneaky sods took photocopies of all the seperate loans & credit cards statements that i took with me to try and sort out, then they reduced my overdraft and said no to any loans for a good 5 years.

So they can go swivel now, not even sure if i can be bothered to cancel the appointment

I wouldn't waste your phone money, empty. Let them stew.
