I've been investing £150 a month into my stakeholder pension with Scottish Widows and would like to invest into a second pension, maybe one thats more adventurous. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The choice of stakeholder is one that limits investment options and has a defined charging structure. It has nothing to do with risk. Scot Widows SHP has around 29 funds. Some of which are high risk.
The Scot Widows PPP is better than the stakeholder as you get stakeholder funds AND a greater range of external funds. You could ask your IFA to get you switched to the SW PPP or ask them yourselves. I suggest an IFA as going higher risk with the contributions requires more knowledge and diversification.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
