a bit of good news in a bad world

hi guys, ok well we have had the week from hell last week, well we thought it had got worse this morning, hubby has gone for a promotion at work and was told this morning that he was unsuccessful, they didnt even bother to interview him. anyway he has just had a call from personnel to ask him to go in, he has now been offered an even better position with more money than the one he went for would have been. .... this is great news as it means he can drastically cut the hours on his second job (he currently does 2 full time jobs) and get a bit of his life back... sorry if you arent interested but i just had to share the good news with someone

thanks guys and yes it will mean a lot more time together, hubby is currently working 16 hours 5 days a week, it will mean he only needs to do 14 hours at his second job instead of 40 !!!! how fantastic !
