Hello All
My inlaws have outstanding debt of £16000. They own their house last valued at £115000. A sudden ilness has shattered their plan of paying the loan of before retirement in 3 years. i am looking for a way to free equity in their home to clear the loan, but ideally i would like to do this without any repayments for them. I see on t'internet various sites offering "Equity release" but the all strike me as Spiv's and dont fill me with confidence. I guess i'm asking if anyone has used these type's of services, or if anyone can think of a better way of achieving this?
