Hi, we are in the process of changing our mortgage provider and wanted to know if someone could recommend a good/cheap solicitor to carry out the legal bit's and bobs... We have already had quotes and I think they can be beaten but don’t know where to look.
Thank's for your time!

I've remorgaged before and not needed a solicitor to do it.

Thanks for your reply. It would be nice not having to pay but we do need a solicitor, due to being in an IVA. Part of the equity is to clear the IVA so we need a solicitor. I have been quoted aprox £460! Is that good or bad? Does anyone know?0

£460 all inclusive is pretty good to be honest. Just check that it includes all the disbursements & not just the solicitors fees.0
