You can buy this for £1.99 from Total Garages if you fill up with some petrol (can't remember the amount, it's about £12 I think). It's definitely the one with the speed camera locations though.0 -
Same thing is also available in Esso garages for £1.99 with a purchase of fuel.
£8.99 seems a bit steep.0 -
I don't think I've ever paid more than £2 for one of those.
Normally appear in the "Clearance" bookshops as soon as they're published.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
£1.98 at https://www.cpc.co.uk - Like iainkirk says - I haven't paid more than £2 for one of these.... in fact last year got 3 for a fiver (for self, parents & inlaws)There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -
I do not think this is the same as the £2'ish ones you can pick up in the “cheap clearance” bookshops, etc.
This is a spiral bound Road Atlas with 328 pages, the cheaper ones usually have less than 100. This is also available on Amazon at £10.49 - see
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0749545488/ref=pd_sxp_elt_l1/026-8757365-5394016
So we may be comparing apples with pears? The AA produce many Road Atlases and this is certainly not the one that you can usually get at a knock down price and that usually have a RRP of abot £6.99.0 -
It's the same content though.... £2 a year or £9 a year for exactly the same info - just at a reduced size on the page. There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't

The more expensive ones do have more maps. They have regional maps and also city centre maps. If all you are looking for is city to city mapping, then the cheapo ones are fine.If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0

the bigger the scale, the more detail, the better the map. i can't stand these maps that are 4 miles to an inch, you can't see anything. my map at the moment is 2.5 miles to an inch, i've seen one that is 1.75 miles to an inch, which looked really good.0

I usually get the spiral bound one too, although you normally do find these making their way into the discounted book shops etc for 5.990
