my boss is in seriouse money trouble the balifs have been and closed our shop i havent been to work for a few days now, he cant afford to pay his debts, i get paid a week behind so he owes me wages where do i stand

please someone tell me where we stand, we all have bills to pay and getting so worried someone suggested going to his office and telling him that we would be taking equipment in payment or demanding our money will we just be laughed at or can we do this0

If he doesn't have the money then you probably won't get paid. He may look to you favourably as you work for him, and so morally he may feel inclined to pay you your final wage...
Can you ring him and ask?
Have you been made redundant officially?
Have you signed on with the job centre so you can receive job seeker allowance?
Sorry I can't be of more help, but in these circumstances it is impossible to know what money he has left and how he will distribute it.
