  • Tuesday the 19th is obviously the new friday 13th!!

Poor Jet, i love cycling and can do it where i live relatively safely but i could never consider it in town where there are kinds of nuttes in cars. Myself included!

Awwww Laura, sorry to hear you didn't get the job, at least you didn't have to wait ages to hear. Did you get feedback?

  • Freezing here in Edinburgh today! Had to scrape the frost of the car and noticed the -1 on the temperature gauge. Was up on top of a rooftop in the city centre today which was blinkin' freezing.

Anyhoo, the crabbit lassie I needed to do something for me hasn't and now I'm being chased by solicitors and my boss because she is 'too busy' to do the work that urgently needs done. As I'm fed up of getting my face bitten off asking for that relatively simple piece of work to be done as she's always 'too busy' then I'm in that horrible situation of having to mention it to her boss. I feel crap about it, but I've asked about 7 or 8 times over the past 2 months for this and it's not been done and it's the literally the last outstanding matter on a job which will make our company about £10 million over the next 5 years. I feel rotten putting someone in that situation, but I'll feel a damn sight more rotten getting the sack for this deal not being done.

Satre was right - hell is other people.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

MAZ ..........really strange you mentioned your next account as my mate who left literally 5 mins ago said oh i must ring next as my credit limit has been slashed from £1500 to £250 but i owe £400???? weird eh.

    .

Next must be having some kinda shore up of accounts or something. I said to the woman, in the 5 years i've had a next account, my credit is better now than it ever was... Wierd huh!

  • My NEXT account hasn't changed. I don't use it often and I've had a £3,600 limit for the last couple of years. I don't make them any money so I'm surprised mine hasn't been cut.

The woman tried to say it wasn't with how i managed my next account but must have been something else on my credit file... i tried to tell her how disgruntled i was and that i was closing my account but she wasn't interested. I am going to try and clear that as soon as possible now. Out of sheer spite!

Not this payday though, i'm going to Liverpool for a hen night midmonth, so i need to ensure i keep enough aside for that. I will physically have to take it out of my account as i just can't leave money sitting! It'll get frittered away on groceries, lunches and petrol.

so when i get paid this month it'll be pay bills and then as if the wages never happenned. still, worth it for a weekend away!

afternoon everyone feeling rubbish today also as just had a call to say i didn't get the job i went for yesterday.

Sorry to hear that laura.. had an interview this morning (which I don't feel very optimistic about) so I can sympathise with the whole job seeking thing - keep trying, I did about 20 applications and 6 interviews last time before I got anything.
