Eeeek!
Ive always had really good skin, slightly oily, but never spotty or anything, but this last fortnight or so, my skins gone really really dry, and really really spotty!
The only difference in my life is that ive moved from a freezing cold house into a nice warm house with central heating. Could this be whats causing it? And more importantly, what can I do to clear it up???

central heating dehydrates you and your skin, so best option is drinking more fluids!0

i drink tonnes of water anyway, but i dont know how to treat this 'dry and spotty skin' thing! Like, if i moisturise it, wont that make the spotty bits worse? You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

It'll make it worse only if it has mineral oil in it. Buy a moisturiser that says 'non comodegenic'. Olay Complete Care is a good one, or Nivea do a good cheapie one which also has allantoin in it, an excellent healing agent for the spots. Hope this helps.0

I know I see the difference in both skin and hair if I'm spending a lot of time indoors with central heating on. I'd say try to get out for a bit of a walk once a day, that seems to help me anyway. Oh and maybe worth putting some little bowls of water around if the air seems really dry. What kind of heating is it anyway? To me electric always feels worse on my skin....0

Central heating, car heaters, cold air outside - all playing havoc with our skin. I have oily skin and Im having to slap on the moisturiser and Im also needing to exfoliate daily.
I swear by Liz Earle's moisturiser and any gentle exfoliater although atm Im using a Boots No7 one that I got free - a bit harsh really0 -
The best product I have found for dry skin is Eucerin
Free sample from here

You can try it then before you buy. Best of luck!:D0 -
i agree about exfoliating if you have dry bits-then moisturise afterwards0
