Non slip mat for child car seat

Hi
Is there such a thing as a mat to put under a child's car seat to stop it slipping on a leather seat. My car seat seems less secure in my parents' Mondeo than it does in my Focus. I think this is due to their leather seats rather than the actual fit.
If these mats exist, does anyone know if they work? I'm trying to avoid buying another car seat (especially as they are shortly going to be changing their car), but obviously would do so if it was the only safe option. If you too have had experience of child car seats on leather seats, perhaps you could advise if you encountered the same problem - ie is it the leather causing the problem or is it just that the fit is wrong?
Hope this makes sense :-/

But would still be interested to hear whether people with leather seats have had a similar problem. I guess at a tenner its worth trying before we splash out on a new seat. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. think i know what divadee means.
you can get rolls of stuff (couple of feet square?) which looks like weaved rubber. used to stop things sliding around, eg under floor mats on laminate floors.
try a haberdasher, or better still, one of the pound shops- sure i've seen the stuff in there before
