I'm going to put myself forward if thats ok with everyone.
My husband is a CEO of a national company so I guess that puts us into catagory three. I dont work because I dont want to. I'd rather be at home to greet the family with a nice dinner.
I came from a very poor family though. As the eldest child, it was always me who had to go to the shop and ask for the amount to be put on my mum's slate to be paid at the end of the week. I hated this so much.
Anyway being frugal once I got married completely turned our lives around and was the reason we ended up being comfortable!
I'm writing about it in my blog which is connected with MSE as I'm writing about the things that I do that are appearing on the show. I'm having good fun with it too!0 -
I'm sure you'll be a great ambassador (again) Shirl!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

I was going to put you forward after seeing your kitchen. Go on Girl, get your name down!
I don't think my kitchen could be described as OS, but the things that come out of it are. I'm sitting here with lunch, 2nd day trying to keep Glycemic load down. I've just made D&DD's red pepper hummus recipe and it's fabulous! Shame I can't send it down the line! Thanks Dee!
And of course I'm not taking the mickey! I have no reason to do that. You've been so nice to me!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Thank you so much. February is a bad month. As you will have seen from my blog, the tenth would have been her 21st. We've still got the 25th to come yet, thats the day she passed away at home in my arms. I spent my 40th birthday at the childrens hospice mortuary.....
Last year I just stayed home everyday, got a couple of dogs to go walking with but apart from that just hid away. I still came on here and other forums because its easy to hide behind a pc and let everyone think you are smiling.
On new years eve I said to my other daughter that I would get up and change my life this year... and on the 8th January channel 5 rang me up out of the blue!
The last thing I wanted to do was appear on the telly but I said yes and then I started the blog to go with it and now I'm shoving my nose into everything. You've just got to keep fighting, that b*st@rd of an illness will not win.0
