Just a quick one! Please advise!

Hi all

After soughting advice off this fantastic website I just have one quick question.

After having the same problem like some people on here with debt collection agencies hassling us all. I sent them a letter saying that I DO NOT acknowledge any debt to your company, I read that the debt becomes barred after six years if no contact has been made with the debt company.

By me writing has this effected it becoming barred or does it still apply even though ive written to them?

If you put "I do not acknowledge any debt....", you are not affecting any rights you might have to declare the debt statute barred, if it turn out to be so.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
