  • hi homer

u have been extremely helpful. i'm buying the property in lancashire, actually south manchester, and i just noticed ur location says lancashire.
is it possible for the members here to exchage contact no.s or email id so that i would be able to arrange an appointment with urself and discuss this matter any further, i've started to lose my confidence in my IMA and also in myself after realising what a Mess i have drawn myself into
    do u think it's possible ?

I would wait for your IMA to come back from holiday and see if they can get you the extension you require with all that has been said. If your broker has to look elsewhere then by all means you can PM me with your details and we can have a chat. Clearly, you want to try and keep your app where it is so you do not lose £600.

    hi

hope Jilll and Homer still around

just wanted to leave an update for my Initial query.
Spoke to my IMA and have got an offer from the same Mortgage lender (A & L) for the same value of Mortgage which was issued 6 months back - for another £195 for renewing it. sounds ok for me -i was having bad dreams of spending again on Valuation fees and arrngement fees again -could have run to nearly £1000. but i'm relieved to find that it's only £195 at this time. i hope this is a normal fee anyone in my position would have to pay. what do you guys think ?

As I said, it was always going to be cheaper to extend if possible. I am glad that they have done this for you and you can have the worry off your mind.
