credit card.
but if you have made loads of application recently, then you need to hold off for at least 3 months.
Also, given the recent credit crunch, companies simply cannot borrow the money they ned to loan to you, so even people with perfect ratings are not getting loans. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Credit Card.
If you cannot afford the minimum payments on your catalouge and keep getting rejected for finance, how do you propose paying off a loan? Seems like you are not thinking rationally.0 -

sounds true^ but iv had a bad few months, iv recently paid my last payment on bt, so no phone line eneded it completely, iv given sky my 30 days notice, so my last bill is stupidly high £101 (comes out on the 20th may) same time as my overdraft interest £20pm and gas/electric £100pm.. apart from the gas/electric, those are out of the way so i only have the catologe but seems they're making me pay it early, usually begining of the month when i have nothing to pay!
I paid £1000 overdraft off in febuary, and have got £800 next month towards my remaining overdraft.
if i had the loan of my choice, id pay off the remaing amount of cataloge with some of it.
i know i need to sort/organise my money better and have started by ridding of luxuries i dont need , althogh iv still got 5months of my o2 £35 contract left, whicj i regret getting, again, lesson learned.
my monthly income altogther is 1,200. i should be able to afford it

Hi
Can you post up your statement of account so we can see what the problem is?
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....html?t=107280
In the men-time keep a spending diary, so you know where the money is going
and join the local group of www.freecycle.org, so you do not nee the catalogues.
Finally, is there a credit union near you?
Some offer cheap loans even to people who have not saved with them previously. Check them out.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
hi ras, where would i find out about loan unions?
this is the best i can do with my statement
Credit limit
£3800.00Available to spend£3282.56Cashback AvailableGoods £4.20*Minimum payment to reach us by 31/05/2008£79.36Balance£517.44

Here, the link is duff so here is some of it
Here is a link to a really useful SOA calculator thanks to Clariman.
Below is a rough template;
Monthly Incomings:
My salary - £1,330.34
Partners salary - £874.32
Benefits - £100
Total - £2,304.66
Monthly Outgoings:
Mortgage/Rent - £700
Council Tax - £89
Gas - £20
Electric - £20.53
TV License - £10.99
Sky £45.99
Phone - £40.79
Food - £300
Car Insurance - £32.53
Petrol - £80
Life Insurance £20
Total: £1,359.83
Make sure you include EVERYTHING you can think of!
Also give us as much detail about your debts as you can especially with the APR’s. If you don’t know them, phone the credit companies up and get them to tell you.
Egg CC – Balance £2,300 (limit £2,500) APR 12.9%
Tesco Loan – Balance £5,000 APR 8.9% Length of term 60 months, 12 months to go
Overdraft - £800 (limit £1,000) APR 20%
The SOA will be the first thing any other user will ask you for and it's essential you get it as accurate as possible!
Also start a spending diary. Note down every single penny you spend each day. It's amazing where it all goes. I was spending over £30 a month on the drink and snack machines at work! That's a minimum £360 a year!
This is crucial in telling you where the "spare £300" a month goes!If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
