I haven't bought this - but I do need a lawnmower - any comments on this brand and whether this is a bargain?

We bought a very similar Spear and Jackson lawnmower from Argos last year. We have used it regularly and have had no problems with it. Our mower feels really sturdy, and seems to cut better than our previous mower (a Flymo). I think it is a good deal.

We have a rotary mower too -it's not a Spear and Jackson (can't remember the brand, but it's well-known), but I can definitely recommend a rotary mower over a hover mower. Much, much easier to use, you don't have to in effect 'lift' it, the grass is collected, none of that line replacing hassle. We paid about the same price as this for ours in a sale at B and Q, so I would say it's a good deal for a quality branded rotary.

what do u do once the blades have worn out....are they replaceable...i have a qualcast?
