Great idea for one of the mods perhaps to incorporate all threads into a single persons guide to saving money?

Can you freeze fresh veg or do you have to cook it first??

    One Tip

Start making a list of things you need about a week before you place the order and stick to it.

Join pigsback and order your monthly shop from Tesco through that site to be delivered to you and you will get money back on every pound you spend, I can't remember how much now but I know it is well worth the delivery charge and also puts a stop to the impulse buys as you are walking around the aisles.

A laundrette manager told me that if you squeeze some washing up liquid into the washing machine with your usual load it will get rid of most stains effectively. It works for me!

Would that be any kind of washing up liquid or a particular one?

Be a bit careful about this; most washing up liquids have a foaming agent. This could end up like a bad comedy sketch with suds and foam billowing all over the place!

consider buying a little block of "VANISH" soap from the supermarket. Vanish is great for helping to get rid of stubborn stains and marks. Its a horrible white little block but if rubbed into the stain prior to washing really does work. There is no foaming action so it wont run riot in the wash either.
