is it just me or im wierd lol , but i get a bit uncomfortable when bank adverts or debt management company adverts come on tv not sure why maybe im lala:p

No not just you. I often mutter at the TV when Ocean Finance, DFD, Picture et al are advertising on Nick Jr GGGGGRRRR!!!! especially when my 6 yo says 'look mum we could get a new car, it will only cost £99 a month.' AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!!

Yeah i'm with you too on this one, i find my middle automaticly pop's up when one of these ad's comes on tv...;)

So i guess i must have learned something.

I hate it when the ads for an IVA comes up - I feel my tummy flip (however am pregnant too) and I have to turn away from the telly. Silly really but I suppose it must be a bit like when someone on a strict diet sees an advert for a bar of chocolate....lol

what turns my tummy is those letters saying ' forgive the unsolicited letter but I note from the insolvency website you are currently bankrupt...we can reverse your bankruptcy for a small fee and help you with any mortgage you may have'.

Got one these yesterday and my blood went cold. You can help my eye!!! Remembering Fermi's advice to another poster, I filed it away in my shredder. Surely the best place to put such an important document?

I've saved my letter to send to the OR, maybe if we all sent them on, the insolvency service might do something about them especially when i'm on the mail preference service to block rubbish like this.


I've been hitting the mute button for months when those damn adverts come on, especially Ocean and Picture, they just annoy me.
