I find myself in the bizarre possition of speaking up for Barclays! They are a business trying to make money and so why not. I don't want to slag off Barclays too much as I have had a good experience of them. When money was really tight and I went over my overdraft limit I was horrified at the £35 penalty for paying and returning payments.. but when I called they refunded every one! I collected over £140 of bank charges one month which they refunded after they heard my pleas. Natwest and Smile would not refund anything at all.0

As a share holder (and Branch Manager) for Barclays, I am really pleased they have thought through any potential loopholes.
Makes a change for someone in head office to actually think these things through properly for once!0 -
I love working for Barclays0
