£2 off professional haircare.
The new store offers aren't really that great, tho a load of stuff is going on BOGOF. 17 have a new mineral range out which is really cheap for mineral make up. Oh and there is new FCUK mens stuff. Can't really remember much else cos we were in a mad rush to get everything done on time lol.
thanks for letting us know in advance:A0 -
I very nearly bought some pink champagne in Boots today reduced to £12.99 (Valentines stock) but OH wouldn't let me  Might sneak back tmrw as they had loads
Did get the Soap & Glory sets (One of the last few it seemed) and they had plenty of hat box sets but I already have the xmas one in my goodies cupboard!
I got caught by the Benefit girl and had a mini makeover.... liked it but total cost of the products used = £120  But it did give me the idea to try No7 tinted moisturiser instead of the powder I normally use. I'm still deciding if I like it or not lol
My best deal I think was the heated blanket.... dual control double reduced to £25 and a 1000 points voucher came up on ACMWe only had the single control one so we're going to pass the single control one on to family.
Current points balance £78.xx :j
I may be moving soon (Mutual Exchange / Housing Association) but the potential new place hasn't got even half as much storage - what will I do  Have your fingers crossed for me tomorrow at 5pm in the hope they want to swap with us - theirs is walking distance to 3 Boots stores  And less than 1yr oldPerfect for us... other than slightly smaller but I can live with that
Wins since September 2011: Wedding (Worth £3500) :j Bridesmaids Headpiece (Worth £40) National Wedding Show VIP tickets (Worth £70) £100 Shopping vouchers...0 -
I never go from one counter to another (always avoid the No 7 counter though). I just turn up at the till with a basket of goodies....
This is Camberley Boots for anyone local to me.
I used to go till to till at Guildford and it was obvious the security and staff thought I was upto something. Now I just go in a quiet times and ask the SA if I can do multiple transactions etc, then do about ten lol. If you ever go to Guildford all the SA's a lovely, but two young supervisor guys are jobsworths.0 -

I can see that this would be a vital consideration when moving house in future.....availability (walking distance) of Boots stores and how many there are:rotfl:
Fab way to pick a house:T
Seriously...good luck for tomorrow and hope you get it.0 -

OMG! I am really upset about what happened to me in Boots today.
I went into Boots and purchased:
1x No7 Illum face powder
1x No7 Eye make up remover
1x No7 Shimmering highlighter set (half price)
1x GWP (No7)
1x Magazine (free with advantage card)
I used the Illum voucher, pink £5 off voucher and 250 points voucher and paid £7.50. The GWP wouldn't scan but the SA said it was fine and let me have it.
I did this transaction again in exactly the same way (my boyfriend was with me so there were two of us) with the same SA and it all went through fine. So far so good.
Then I purchased:
1x No7 Tan Wipe
1x No7 Illum face powder
1x Magazine (free with advantage card)
I used the Illum voucher and was charged 50p!
I went upstairs and did the same again.
Then I went downstairs and sat on the step to tear the vouchers out of the magazines that I was given with my purchases. While I was sat on the step the SA from upstairs walked past. My boyfriend said she was watching me but I said I had nothing to hide as they had scanned the magazines and given them to me. We then went to another till with a tan wipe and an Illum voucher (as above) but when I got to the till a very rude manager (I think she was a manager because she was wearing a suit) came over and said:
"You have been seen buying those items at the till over there, and at the till upstairs and it's only one per customer".
I said "Oh I'm sorry, I thought it was one per transaction".
She then changed her story and said "No it's one per advantage card"
My boyfriend then said "Ok we'll leave it then thanks" and we hurried out of the shop.
I was upset because the woman said it in a very rude way in front of other customers and I was made to feel like a criminal! Plus, I was actually with my boyfriend so in effect we only had one offer each anyway! My boyfriend said he saw the manager on the phone before she marched over to us and he thinks the SA upstairs reported us!
Well, I'm happy with the offers I got, and I didn't want to cause a fuss. But I do take offence to being spoken to rudely just for using a voucher, and for being told a load of old rubbish!!! First I was told 'one per customer' but it says 'one per transaction' on the voucher. Then I was told it's only 'one per advantage card'. I know this isn't true because anyone can buy the magazines for £1 and you don't have to use an advantage card at all! She took the voucher off me which I felt was rude because she didn't know whether I'd paid for a magazine or not. I know I was taking advantage of some really good offers today, but let's face it, I still spent £17 in Boots when I normally wouldn't have shopped there. Plus, what is the point of an advantage card if they don't let you take advantage of the offers anyway (last week they wouldn't let me use an extra points voucher because I got a GWP)?
I'd be interested to hear what other Bootsters think about this?
Lemony x
Lemony, if it was a big store you were in I would think that the person who spoke to you was probably just a team manager. I wouldn't have been spoken to like that in front of other customers, there is no need for it.
I know that when something like that happens, it catches you off guard, but I would have insisted on seeing the store manager.
To speak to anyone like that is not on, at the very least, they should have taken you to one side.
What you were doing is not wrong in any case, it says on the vouchers that they can be used one per transaction. It is not dependant even on you having an Advantage card, as the magazines can be bought anyway.
It would be impossible for Boots to say that a customer could only take advantage of a magazine voucher once, because any customer could use a voucher another time without producing their Advantage card, which is the only way Boots can track the transaction anyway.
If Boots didn't want mulitple use of the vouchers, then they would have to limit the H&B books to one per Advantage card, not send any out with .com orders and not sell them to people who hadn't got a card.
Like everyone else says, it is Boots way of getting us to go in their shops a lot more than we would ordinarily go in a shop and spend more to get the offers. If they limited their use, they would lose out in the long run.
What would be the point in letting us have as many magazines scanned as we like, if we can't use them?0 -
Very impressed with Boots stocking of this offer today.
Free 30 500mg glucosamate vitamins with coupon out of Daily Mail valid to 2nd March. Not only did you get 100points with jan/feb mag coupon but they actually restocked the counters with more packs when the morning rush had emptied them. Wish superdrug/tesco/holland & barrett would take note . whats the point of paying national advertising price if you are only going to let 10 customers get the freebies.0 -
Earth tremor in Liverpool (In the area of Boots,) Did it effect you too?? Smiles wont work neither.~ What goes around comes around ~0
