Gloucester store had reduced S&G £7.50 & Accesorize hat boxes £9 today.
Asked No7 SA if anymore P+P due in & she said def no no.

Infact I must give a BIG thumbs up to the No7 girls in Gloucester as they only had Island Glow shade highlighters which they recommended I go for the pinky shade so have allowed me to return that shade & exchange once they get my shade in.......I KNOW . How fab is that! SA said she knows my face so'll remember me for the exchange....I was like EEEEK & joked that CCTV probably are familiar with my face too & they laughed...with me or at me!!!!!!

Furthermore I thought I don't know how friendly they are re glitches/offers if I don't try so for the first time EVER I paid at the No7 counter & they were fab!!!! Infact I did it twice:
    Cocooning body cream
    highlighter
    GWP
    PAID
    highlighter voucher
    No7 £5 pinky
    £7.50 to pay
Forgot to use my 250 pointers from previous GWP but as I'd bought 2 didn't want to go back as they may have thought I dragged them out of todays GWP, trying to pull a fast one.
I have found renewed faith in the No7 girlies......make them your friends or at least give them a chance. For this offer mine have been fab, lets see what subsequent offers bring...friends or foes.

They were telling shoppers if you spend X more £'s you'll get a GWP & some needed only spend a few £'s so they were definitely plugging the offer. The pink voucher is redeemable until Sunday so don't hoard them for the next glitch ( if one exists )
  • went into boots today to get my 3rd free illum powder and also bought no7 dream lash
    got the 100 extra points
SA refused me the GWP for the 3rd time
handed over illum powder, went through ok.

also handed over a full basket of baby foods and hair and nail things.
ive got home and the SA has forgot to put my No7 things in my bag.
they are on the receipt and the bag was under the buggy the whole time so i wouldnt have lost them.

will boots do anything about this?

also checked the clearance stuff and it was full of leaking bottles and total rubbish

    MMM jimsmum, not very tactful.:naughty:

Surely age is just a number? Perfume preference are rarely defined by age, but as in my case its defined by my nose. While my nose may be 61 my outlook is very young and choose perfumes accordingly. Paris, Coco, Midnight/hypnotic poison, etc

As I have the wisdom of age, I will assume that you did not not mean that 'older people' prefer perfume that smells like zoflora.:rotfl: :rotfl: I will therefore give you the benefit of the doubt. I would hate to have to go around sniffing myself so see if I smelt like an old toilet :p as I know I smell wonderful. :smileyhea

I'm showing my age now but I remember when Elizabeth Arden's Blue Grass was all the rage, it smelled lovely on all my friends but when I sprayed it on myself it smelled like fly spray  Same thing for Poison too, I love the scent but on me it just smells disgusting. I suppose it's because we all have different skin chemistry and the perfumes react differently on everyones skin.

I think I go back quite far in "perfume down memory lane" Kiku by faberge, Blase by max factor, charlie(still here) halston, gingham, french almond(I think thats what it was called). Anyway, to tie in with the forum, Decided to try the 1000 points with an ange au deamon (or however you spell it) reduced gift set that had the 50ml in it. The till beeped and the SA wenr for help. It is for the new one though, the "tendre" one, which is nice. So I left it, can justify any more perfume really. She gave me some samples of the new one to try.
    k.
Money is only of any use if you can spend it!
  • If the No7 GWP is ending tomorrow, is there going to be a new one to replace it, or are we going to have to wait?

  • I think it's the 17 GWP that ends tomorrow, the No7 GWP is "while stocks last" according to SA in Durham. They seem to be going fast though.
  • Worcester is rapidly running out of the No7 aswell. Not too fussed about the 17 gift, already stashed it away as a potential present!

Anyone who got Kylies new fragrance as a freelybie, can you describe it? Is it nice and fresh and fruity? or is it heady? thanks.

Fruity with a hint of baby powder, smells nicer on than in the bottle. Its lovely.

I've had lots of successful no 7 highlighter shops here I wonder who you got. It wasn't at the no7 counter was it? I know of only one jobsworth there Pm me and we'll compare notes.
Did they have any highlighters there?
Chester today only had pink ones and said they thought they were being discontinued that's why they were on offer. They we're quite happy getting rid of them.
Did have highlighters, might be a bit late now though soz as offer finishes today!!! Oh and you have PM
    :A
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

  • A big thank you to Pollsdolls. My 3 P&P's came this morning. I was not sure if I would get them but Boots has honoured my order.
