I have decided I like feeling a little cluttered with stuff to pamper myself with, I think after years of living with a gambler then 13 years as a single Mum (kids both working now) its nice to be surrounded by these luxuries

All my hampers complete for every occasion until July too but must admit the "clutter" is contained in one room lol

You sound as if you've got a good system all worked out! I was keeping my spare toiletries stash under the sink but it is now waaaay too big and has filled a big cardboard box. I need to find a good system for cataloging stuff, deciding who/when it's for etc etc.Have never made hampers for family/friends but that sounds a good idea. . Trouble is, I think I now have enough shampoo to last till 2008 if not 2009 (and I have very long hair!!LOL!) but how will I resist future bargains....a nice problem to have, I guess!!

Following your expert advice, I nipped in the Boots on Retail Park and asked the young shop assistant to check the price as my friend had bought some yesterday (hope you don't mind me referred to you as my friend!!!LOL).
Not at all, i'm proud of you young grasshopper :D
She was very shocked they were reduced. Being greedy I got 3! I noticed a couple of women grab one when they heard they were reduced.
    Figures..lol
Went in the Millgate Boots and they were marked down in there!
    Grrr, lol again
I wouldn't mind but I've got really dodgy skin and only use Simple Products so I'll end up giving them away as presents.
Aww Bless :o what a sweetie you are. I have fussy skin too
    Bet you've been Bootsing today????
    Actually... no :p [/quote]

Nice baskets for all my goodies and plastic storage with lids for hamper goodies

I have only been Bootsing for a few weeks and think I may have gone a bit overboard, you think the glitch today is going to be the last glitch ever! I keep telling myself glitches are like buses another one will be along shortly:rotfl:

Spent loads in Boots and its a shop I never shopped in before but can justify this at this time because I've stopped smoking so there is a bit of extra cash knocking about and I also don't have to think of saving for Xmas as I know presents will be all sorted by the summer at this rate:T

Thanks for this - some good suggestions. Sounds like yo have it all under control. I'm hoping that, as the next H&B mag hasn't got such good vouchers in and No7 won't be on GWP, I may have a relatively Boots-free month in March....but this remains to be seen!!LOL!:rotfl:
  • HAs anyone seen the p&p sets in Exeter stores yet?? And can i use a £5 off voucher against these?

Tried to use my last Baby Expert voucher on the BOGOF wipes yesterday but it didn't work. :( After a huge kerfuffle during which the SA and the manager kept scratching their heads, they came to the conclusion it was because they were BOGOF and you can't combine two offers (which we know is not true ;))

i managed last saturday and again earlier in the week both went through ok at half price on the bogof

so last night i found another baby expert 1/2 price coupon and tried it today and SA tried it twice but wouldnt work either then he scruitinised the back of it and said cant combine with other offers

also had problems with the 500points when you spend £10 baby item ....had spent £13.. but mainly kandoo wipes and they said that wasnt baby items ......asked them why they were in the baby dept .then .... ended up getting them put on manually
  • We have 10 illuminating powders!...don't know quite how that happened!lol :D

Can I ask...sorry if this has been covered...what's the hype about the S&G sets? TIA
  • *runs into thread and quickly admits to 13 No7 GWPs and 16 Illum Powders - hangs head in shame at such gluttony and legs it out of thread*:j :rotfl:
