I know Creme Eggs aren't really Easter Eggs (but they taste good!) - and just following on from the last post, they're 24 for £8 in Asda...- so 33p ea. is not bad.

I was in asda on Saturday and they had the following deals on Creme eggs... Boxes of 3 for 50p, boxes of 6 for £1, boxes of 12 for £2.

    I got a couple of boxes of 12 :j

This made them under 17p each. 50% cheaper than they seem to be now:eek:

I believe the offer was ending on Sunday 16/3/08 though.

Well either I bought 4 of them from the Wembley branch a few days ago after seeing the shelf price at £2, or I'm going very very mad and those things that I think I paid £8 for (as scanned) are in the cupboard aren't really there!

The £2 Aero easter eggs from Asda, are not the pamper voucher ones. At least then ones I bought on Saturday weren't. Perhaps you have found a lucky glitch?

they are the ones with the pamper voucher/activity days voucher in.
The medium eggs are also £2 but only contain an egg and 2 bars of chocs.

Thanks to the previous two posters for proving my sanity - and as I said (many posts ago) they were with the other eggs on a shelf, not in the "pile 'em high" sections dotted about in the Wembley store where I got them from.

The SEL said £2, they scanned at £2, I paid £2, and that's what my receipt says 2! :rotfl:

It is quite feasible that they have actually sold out of those, rather than me making this up, or it being some kind of freak occurrence that I got them for £2!!! ;)

Having said all that, I wouldn't hold my breath about getting those treats!

    Happy Easter to all!
