Also got Mums old mincer........never use it but can't bear to part with it and can't even display it properly.
Enamel flour bin holds flour and the enamel sugar one holds sugar........do have a stonewear pot with salt on it that serves as kitchen utensil holder as its lost its lid.

Just remembered - I have grandmother's aluminium 'egg-separator'. Think it was maybe from the 1930's AND it's still used.0

I have all my mum's cake tins and pie dishes. I also have her electric carving knife, a nice brown one from the 70's but it still works a treat. My favorite "hand me down" is her 1953 Good Housekeeping picture cookbook through, although it's not a gadget, its very helpfulWell I can't stand by the side
And watch this life pass me by

Yes, we did all right from the grans' houses. DH had a gran who died, one who went into a home, 2 gt aunts living together that went into a home, my gran died and the other one went into a home. This was all during the year and a half before we got married. We had all sorts of baking tins and pyrex, household linen etc etc. Furniture and appliances too.[SIZE=-1]"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. I have loads of gadgets I've inherited. My Bel Yoghurt Maker was my sisters from the 70's and still going strong.I had a Bel Cream Maker at one time but could never pluck up the courage to use it.My favourite gadget of all is the recipe book that I rescued from my Sisters house after she died.My sister was an amazing cook and her recipes have inspired me and I've continued to add to the book to pass onto my girls

I've got a set of knives, forks and spoons that were my Nanna's, I found then in my Mums loft. I use them as they remind me of having my dinner at her house when I was little. I've also got her old salt and pepper pots (with white and blue stripes) I can remember her having loads of that style of crockery plus the big light brown mixing bowls - all this stuff costs a small fortune now....0

I am using my great grandmothers's jam pan, circa 1889.....0
