if you have to take your son to physiotherapy appointment, you might be eligible for travel assistance from the hospital - ring up and speak to the hospital welfare officer.
Otherwise, advise them that you cannot take him because of the cost and they will send a patient ambulance.

Good for you re the loan, the CCCS are really helpful so get a cup of tea in your next free half hour take a deep breathe and do it.
But again huge well done for turning the loan back it wouldn't have helped in the long run!0 -

You've already had a lot of practical advice - but I just wanted to say well done for taking the first step towards dealing with your debts - it'll be hard, but well worth it - the only way is up!! GOOD LUCK!
Positive vibes:
Spending less than £100 on food shopping in May.
organising cheap/free days out with friends
Negative vibes:
Being £1100 in my overdraft

There's a couple of good replies on another thread (Getting out of debt) suggesting things like writing to companies with a reduced payment offer.
Someone also said there is a letter somewhere on this site telling companies that you will only correspond in writing - should help stop any potential phone calls.0 -
Thanks again to all - I'm off to sort the kiddies out with lunch and do some mummyhat stuff (housework, blah) and then I'm sitting down with a cuppa, pen and paper and starting my own DFW diary - it'll help me keep track of what I'm doing, where I'm at etc. Should be interesting!
