Lexmarks are often cheap, but I'd steer well clear unless quality isn't a consideration

You could do worse than check out the Brother and Canon outlets on Ebay. Re-furbished, supposedly, but regards the two that I have bought, as good as new, in fact I'm sure they are new. The Brother all in one that I bought is highly regarded, and has four separate, reasonably priced cartridges, unlike a lot of the rip-off High St name brands.

I have a Brother DCP 120C that I hardly use but its stopped printing in Black I have changed the blank ink cartrdige and it still prints blank sheets when I try to use black

I got an Epson DX4400 from Amazon for £35 delivered, the inks are £2.17 each, black and three colours.

Inks at that price come from ink.co.uk, but if you do a lot of printing you can get a continuous ink system from bigpockets to fit.
