Evesham Warranty Void - advice needed

Hi everybody,
I purchased an Evesham PC last year. However I took the finance option (2 years interest free credit), plus paid the 10% deposit by credit card. The PC was quite expensive (around £2000)
The payments are still coming out of my account. The PC has been working fine.
I have just learned from a computer magazine that as the company went bankrupt, my warranty has become void. It was a 2 yr on site, 1 year return to base.
Can anybody advice me if I can claim against the finance co (Clode finance) if this PC breaks down whilst still in the repayment period ? Or against the credit card company ?
How about getting a refund for the cost of the warranty from Clode (as obviously it no longer exists, and I am still paying for it) ?

Was the computer and insurance purchased at the same time and constitutes one transaction?
If so the credit card is jointly liable BUT IMO only if the computer fails and you have to make a claim.
I don't think you can just get a refund of the warranty cost.0 -
Did you buy your PC from them after June 2007?
I have bought people systems through Evesham quite a few times, living in Evesham myself it was very easy to do. Two people have contacted me recently asking me for advice about something.
Evesham, it seems, have passed on customer information to a computer support company. Who are phoning people informing them that their warranty is no longer valid and if they would like to join their scheme. Interestingly, they don't push much at all.
I've yet to find more information about the scheme to see if it's worth it, but as far as I can tell it is very much on the level Evesham's was.
Now then, I'm told that if you bought your PC from Evesham Technology sometime in mid June or July 2007 or onwards, then your warranty is still valid.
Actually, if you were to phone Evesham Customer Support, you will be put through to another company who have taken over the customer support role.
Not as much as an awnser, more of a hint of hope for you; if you did buy your PC later.
Edit: See here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=744933 about information about this company offering the computer support.
