Terms and Conditions


1) Conditions of Participation/Privacy Policy

• The prize draw is organised by Bales Worldwide, Bales House, Junction Road, Dorking Surrey RH4 3HL.

2) No purchase is necessary to take part in this prize draw

• Entry into the prize draw assumes acceptance of the terms and conditions below and agreement to be bound by the decisions of Bales Worldwide. The following terms and conditions will apply to this prize draw.

3) Duration

• The prize draw will take place on the 19<SUP>th</SUP> February 2008. The lucky winner of the competition will be awarded a 12 day’s holiday for two on our exclusive dahabiyya on the 28<SUP>th</SUP> May.

4) Eligibility

• This competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, other than employees of Bales Worldwide, its agencies or their families.
• No responsibility is accepted for ineligible or fraudulent entries. A winner who has supplied incomplete, inaccurate or fraudulent information will be automatically disqualified.
• Only one entry per household is permitted.

5) Use of Personal Information

• In order to participate, participants must also supply certain information about themselves.
• This information will be used by Bales Worldwide for the purposes of administering this promotion and, only where agreed by the participant, for the marketing and promotions of Bales Worldwide services.

6) Drawing of the Winner

• The draw will take place on 18t<SUP>h</SUP> February 2008. The winner is chosen at random by Bales Worldwide. It is the decision of Bales Worldwide concerning the determination of the winners and will be final.

7) Notification of the Winner

• The winners will be informed both by email and phone call on the 19<SUP>th</SUP> February and follow up telephone call from our sales team.
• If prize is not claimed it will not be able to be claimed at a later date.

8) The Prize

• The prize will consist of a trip on one of our dahabiyyas. The date of departure is the 27<SUP>th</SUP> May and is not transferable. The holiday is not transferable for any other tour or cash alternative.
• No domestic flights to Heathrow from regional airports are available at our normal discounted rates. All flights will be taken with Egypt Air
• Must have relevant travel insurance to cover this trip – policy number to be provided prior to travel

Included in Prize:
· Economy flights form London Heathrow to Cairo plus domestic flights in Egypt as per itinerary
· Accommodation & breakfast at the Mena House Oberoi based on twin rooms
· 7 nights on the dahabiyya with full board & excursions as per itinerary.
· Local beer, local wine & soft drinks on the dahabiyya
Not included in Prize:
· Bales Worldwide will not cover the cost of any Travel Insurance
· Bales Worldwide will not cover the cost of any Visa’s needed for the holiday
· Bales Worldwide will not cover the cost of any Inoculations
· Bales Worldwide will not cover the cost of any Passport costs
· Bales Worldwide will not cover the cost of any Travel to & from Heathrow Airport
· All extras not included in the itinerary eg additional drinks, meals, excursions, laundry, phone, business centre, room service will not be paid for by Bales Worldwide
· The Balloon flight is not part of the prize but can be booked and paid for prior to departure
· The Abu Simbel extension is not part of the prize and will not be paid for by Bales Worldwide


9) Limitation of Liability

• Bales Worldwide reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel the competition without specifying the reasons for its decision and without incurring liability as a result.
• Entry into the prize draw assumes acceptance of these terms and conditions and agreement to be bound by the decisions of Bales Worldwide
