You shouldn't feel guilty about putting the answer in, as the majority of posts do.

Plus the website owner was nice and polite in asking for the answer removed, so no harm done.

I try not to put the answers on competitions which I know are small business's WAHP's sites as its not fair on them:D and the person who is running the comp has every right to ask for the answer not to be posted, its fun to have a challenge:D

hmmmmmm it does generate a lot of traffic for site and busniess,people clicking on competitions tend to joins sites and look around and perhaps buy things,so i dont really see what the big deal is,as i like i say its generating lots of traffic to sites.

That's true most of the time, but this one was email entry, & I expect a lot of people were entering from this thread without going anywhere near the site!

It does generate more business when the entry form is online though - I just ordered £30 worth of candles & incense from a site I was on to enter a comp - would never have heard of it without the competition, so if any small site owners see this, it's probably better to avoid email entries if possible
