due to suddenly having no money I now need to live for at least the next two weeks on what I have in the cupboards, I have approx £5 and what ever shrapnel I can find to buy things with.

I'm a bit :o at how much I do actually have in LOL

Theres just me so hopefully it should be easy enough to stretch this lot out, but I just dont have any ideas other than pasta or roast chicken.

I need to cover pack lunches for work as well as evening meals. I do have slow cooker, bread machine etc

I have also found a bag of tatties left over from xmas, they dont appear to be anything other than slightly sprouting eyes so think they should be ok. However I'm not a big lover of potatos so athough they need using it would be great if they could be used up with their taste/texture hidden if you know what I mean:o

I have cereals and can make bread so that should cover breakfasts with a bit of porridge for a change LOL

many thanks :)

hey sound to me you've got more then enough for at least pack ups... if you can make your own bread theres always sandwhichs lol... youve got a fair few meals out of that eg. soups, stew (which is great if you make extra freeze it or if you have a way of warming it up at work a pack up) ... id say get in the kitchen and bake save money plus there plenty of snacks and fillers... and for your meals just take the basic ingredients for each meal it makes it last longer and your dont worry you've got not enough in
    :)Still searching .....:)

OK here goes :) ( Ive crossed through above to show how Ive used up!)

Monday: Roast chicken, swede, roast pots, carrots, sweetcorn, gravy

Tuesday: Lunch :Chicken sandwiches on the HM bread :)
Left over chicken can be made into chicken & mushroom lasagne, using the las sheets, mixed dried mushrooms, onion, condensed mush soup, and a bit of cheese to top ( any chicken left use with the pulses to make a country chicken soup using the stock then this can be frozen for lunches)
if you want a pud- have the Xmas pud & custard

    Wednesday-
Pork Chops, Apple sauce, a couple of the smaller potatoes maybe baked, you wont need much, with peas & corn cob?
    Rasperrrys with the ice cream

    Thursday:
Bread the cod portions and have with chips ( youll need eggs, if you get 6 freeze what you dont need in mini tupperwares)
Pud? What about baking the bananas & having with honey?

    Friday
Cooked turkey, with the chickpeas, chopped toms, mushrooms, small chopped potato, and providing you have the right spices- a curry :) with rice. You can apparently make naan in the BM although Ive never done it. Search for piadines, Ive made these instead of naan rather successful.

    Saturday,
I would have stirfried noodles with strip veg ( courgette onion, mush) with a grilled salmon fillet on top

    Sunday:
What about cod provoncale, in a tomatoe sauce on rice?

Anyway off out now, theres a week done! Good luck youve got loads there :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    :o just one:o

Trouble is I have lots in but no ideas what to do with it, I always tend to stick to them same stuff over and over and it does get very boring.

Mind I'm currently having a go at fish pie from one of the recipes posted on here so thats using up some of the stuff, if I'm still here later you know I didn't poison myself:rotfl:
