For anyone that is interested in getting a new graphics card for their pc. The prices seem very reasonable. Note though some are AGP versions.
For example, the Leadtek 6800GT is £165 (inc VAT), and on eBuyer it's £215 url="http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=64851&_LOC=UK"]link[/url (inc VAT). Other places still stock it at up to £230. I'm usually one to go for quite high quality stuff, and while I wouldn't normally go for a Leadtek, from the reviews I've read, and people that have already bought them posting on forums, the price is very good for what you are getting, and everyone is happy with the card.

The current issue of PC pro (issue 131 Sept 05) has a article about Overclockers in the Helping Hand section.
Very poor customer service apparantly, and when PC pro tried to intervene they were given 'very short shrift from an Overclockers employee'.0 -
Overclockers used to have really good customer service when they first started but I've heard too many horror stories in the last few years.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

Yep truley awful apparently,
you arent werewolf from ocuk are you?0 -
I think it actually said in the article that Overclocker's terms and conditions were breaking the law! It shows how little they care about people's opinions of them when they even ignore a PC magazine , who found it nearly impossible to contact them! From my experience they are definately a company to avoid.0

Awful company, they don't answer the phone (even hung-up on me twice). Most infuriating company ive ever dealt with and i vowed never to use their hideous service again.0

And if you look on the Overclockers forums, you can see the Owner "Spie" boasting about his new cars, his latest being a new BMW M5.
Making his business run smoothly is obviously not as important as buying himself expensive cars, so why should we put more money into his pockets?
Avoid OverclockersUK for this reasons alone if you dont believe that they have poor CS.0 -
gO TO eBUYER INSTEAD
CHEAPER AS WELL0 -
Never had a problem with them personally, Bought the goods, arrived next day.Save save save!!0
-
Have you ever had to return an item though? It's their after-sales service that's the main problem.0
