Ring your local council and ask what you are allowed and not allowed to do on your own frontage. Our Church regularly has a cake/rumage stall on the Church yard and providing we do not set up on the pathway or cause an obstruction we are fine. We have no probs from food/hygiene peeps about HM cakes either.
Yard sales are a perfectly acceptable way to make extra cash and clear out in the states and I've seen increasing households do it over here. It may just be a case of running it past the powers that be and getting a nod and a wink that it will be ok.Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0 -
