Fun idea I came across was a pack with a reuseable camera "Its My Day as a Bridesmaid". It has a spiral bound book with lots of places to put photos and write down things that happened on the day. The camera also has film in ready to go and is reuseable and comes in a plastic carry case.
Think its meant for kids as well. That would be a great fun thing for the day and add a little something else it would a a great memory. They cost £16.00 and is a something a bit different

Depending on what time you are getting married, what about a morning at a spa to relax her?:happyhear We are not put on this earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other.
If you are there always for others, then in time of need, someone will be there for you.

There's a little shop in Birmingham that does lovely things like little silver (I'm assuming plated cos they're quite cheap) boxes and compacts, mirrors etc with free engraving. Most probably what we'll be getting for the maid of honour, the bridesmaids are each having their dresses, shoes, tiara's and necklaces... I figure thats enough... lol.A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

My business does the mirrors that we engrave with a personal message. We have also done sterling silver heart (or oval) jewellery tags engraved with their recipients name on one side and from bride and grooms name on reverse that customers attach to the jewellery that they have either bought elsewhere or bought from our handcrafted section and we fit it.0

I'm not having any bridesmaids or anything, from reading the other posts here I think we're having the world's smallest wedding! But his mum has really helped a lot, so I'm knitting her some socks in funky colours to say thankyou.
So how about making her something? a batch of cookies in star shapes, or a cake with stars on, if that's your theme. You can put silver decorations on it to tie in with the whole silver thing. You know your friend best, so work out what she's into and go from there. A voucher for an evening babysitting is usually well appreciated! This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
