If you sign up with Amazon Associates (it's free) then add items you like to your Wish List, then use their tools to paste the Wish List wizard thing onto your own webspace (most ISP's allow you some space, just read the help pages on how to set that up) then you get a referral link to each of the items you want to buy, click through there and you'll get credited for your own purchases.
A simpler way is to set up an Associates account and make a note of your username. Click through Amazon to the item you want to buy and look at the address, it's in the format ..
amazon.co.uk/dp/B00099999/ref=some_other_reference_here_1_1
Simply delete back to the ref= part then enter your own user ID, so it looks like this:
amazon.co.uk/dp/B00099999/ref=moneysavingexpert-21
Press enter and it should track your purchase now. Once you've entered Amazon through one of your own referral links, it should track any other purchases in that session to your account.
Be careful which plan you select (Classic or Performance), the Classic pays a lower rate but doesn't have a ceiling, so you'll end up better off if you buy something over £100 say. Check the rates tables and choose the plan that suits your purchase. You can change it at any time as your buying pattern changes.
I've been doing this for some time and it seems to work OK.

That's odd as they've been paying me for years and yet it would be very easy for them to track the fact that the referrer and beneficiary were one and the same?Signature on holiday for two weeks0
