Stationary Box are selling photo paper(220g/m so this is better quality) 4.95 for 40 sheets glossy/satin/silk but it is 3 for 2 so 9.90 gets you 120 sheets, it is only slightly cheaper than yours but it is better quality paper

What size are we talking about here A4 or 6 by 4 inches?

The "weight" of the paper isn't a reflection on quality, just on "thickness". So it may be cheaper, and thicker, but not neccessarily better!!

Sainsburys paper is A4.

none in my local Sainsburys, maybe this is just a special or clearance at your local store

surely its better to print photos on thicker(better quality) paper than on thin ordinary paper mind you i have been in the printing trade for 28 years so i could be wrong but i must get onto SupaSnaps/Klick etc tell them if they use thinner paper they'll save millions & people wont mind floppy pictures

My what a smarty pants you are. I happen to print photos and put them in frames to display my talented efforts so I don't need stiffness!!!

I'm sure what Zak was saying (quite rightly in my opinion) was that just because it is thicker paper doen't mean it is better quality - I'd have expected that someone who'd been in the printing trade would have known that and wouldn't need to resort to snide remarks to someone who was trying to help....

In my local Sainbury's (Halifax) - HP Premium Photo Cards 6*4 20 sheets 240g/m2 were shelved at £2.49 but scanned at £3.49. Got them at reduced price but would like to know if I could of got them for free like Tesco's?
