I think I might sort some ebay stuff out tonight too - seems like a good idea. Have had a hectic day and can't be bothered doing much else. I think we may watch Gremlins again, it's been a couple of weeks since last time...

It's because you have something more precious than money - and that's time for him.

aww numpty. Can you arrange once a month that he comes around or you do something together free (museum/park) when children are young they dont want materialistic things they want love/time spent together.0 -
Aww Skint, how old is your DS?
only 8 (though he'd probably say nearly 9), he's only got mine and his dad's number in the phone and the only reason he's got it is cos I won a posh new one so I thought he could have my old scratched one for a couple of years (ok maybe more) before he's trusted with a new one.
needless to say it's his dad he's been texting!Mortgage OP 2025 £7550/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I've been saving DS's old shirts and jeans to make a patchwork throw but not quite got round to it. I thought it would be nice to remember when he was wee and cute when I looked at it.Mortgage OP 2025 £7550/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Probably because him knowing about your financial situation has stripped away some of your "shielding", and the fact he isn't bothered at all about it (unlike yourself) has damaged the rest. Coupled with the fact he prefers your company to his own father's company is a recipe for strong emotions with a poor defence against them."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
