Bargain Reversible Bedset Sainsburys £2.50

I sainsburys today they had lots of bed linen reduced in price, some were 50% off and some were 75% off.

I bought a Double Reversible bed linen set, comprises of duvet cover,a fitted sheet and 2 pillow cases...colour was chocolate and teal,a bargain for £2.50.

They had cream and chocolate and singles and kingsize too but the teal and chocolate double was the best deal.

This was at Raleigh in Essex
    :D
  • Not available in Bitterne store at that price, did a price check and came up £9.99 - then went to the Hedge-End store and same pack scanned at £7.xx - seems stores are determining their own reductions.
At Bitterne we did manage to get a 13.5tog double hollowfibre duvet on a managers special at £3.99 - Hedge-End store were selling this for £15.99 !!
    - See what i mean by the difference prices between stores, although their only a couple of miles apart from each other.
  • Double set was £9.99 in Bath if that saves anyone a trip!
  • Got the brown/cream one for £2.50 at Stafford. The teal one was £5.

Just as a FYI - I bought one of the cream and brown ones just after Christmas (paid around £12 I think) and I washed it before use as advised but the brown ran all over the cream!

Left it a yukky salmon pink colour, so took it back for a refund. Although I accidentally forgot to put the bottom sheet in the packet when I returned the rest as I'd washed it before I washed the duvet cover and had put it in my airing cupboard, so I ended up keeping that for free! :D

I also thought that the quality wasn't very good considering the original price of it - good for £2.50 of course but not worth much more IMO - very thin material.
