First post so be gentle.
I'm registered with m turk. It's part of the amazon group and was set up by some big bod at amazon so they could get HITS (human intelligence tasks) done easily. Basically it was set up so they could identify if two products/posts on amazon were the same - not easy for a computer but very easy for a human. There are a load of other tasks on there now and payment ranges from $0.01 to $10 or more per task. I think it's comparable to daly clicks so far I've earnt $4.42 since I registered in mid-jan but I've only been on a few times.
If you google it first (as any sensible money saver should) it all seems positive.
Hope that helps.0 -
Problem with mechanical turk is that you can't get the money if you only have UK accounts - you can only transfer to an Amazon.com account (not the same as .co.uk) or to a US bank account.0

Well the thing is im a Tiler by trade but im new to it and i just need a job either in the morning from 6-10 or evening 6-10 for 4 hours a day. finding it hard to get a job with them hours so was thinking about data input jobs from home that i can put my own time in to.
Any suggestions of comapnies guys0 -
Have you tried AQA? It's not data entry but fits the hours you need (online research answering questions people text in) there is a huge thread on here about it, they are quite ruthless when recruiting, but it is worth a try. Other than that and textperts (which I think is also pretty hard) I don't think there is an easy answer, although if you find it, let me know!0

tried aqa no luck. just hoping someone else knows of comapnies that are recruitng for data input type jobs.
All the jobs i see advertised are stupid and unrealistic0 -
Where are you based?
I am in Birmingham and have seen lots of evening data input jobs advertised in the past (have even had one or two myself!) Have you tried contacting temp agencies to see if they have anything?0 -

try theatre ushering, its those exact hours you asked for (excl. matinees) and usually between £20-£25 per show, plus overtime-where I work is based on 3 3/4 hour shifts (plus bar tips etc) and usually get around £200 for doing 8 shows. sometimes under, sometimes over.
Its not data so apologies for post hijacking. But its good fun, not too stressful, and you get to see shows for free! (and usually discounts for friends & family too..)0 -

Do you need to contact thetheatres direct or is there a website for these types of jobs?
Thanks :-)0
