  • i filed a full admissionin may 2006, and set everything back to the claimant. I asked for my payments to be accepted as per my DMP. I did not hear anything more but I continued to pay. I conatcted the court to see what had happened about the claim. They say that they were not given any details from the claimant and nothing had ever been taken further on the matter.

Thinking about it even more, the computer would have put an automatic stay on the case after the 16 day response time had passed if the OP filed the admission at court. x x
    hello again
    what does automatic stay mean
  • I phoned the court today and they said about the 6 month rule about the claimant requesting judgment within this time frame, after 6 months they had to apply to the court.
What doesn't seem right is that this is hanging over me like a threat all the time. Either they want a judgment or they don't. I admitted the claim in 2006 so surely the CCJ should run from that date. What if the claimant decided to request judgment after 5 years and 364 days would the CCJ run from the 2006 date or the date the judge orders it. I know my credit rating is poor now but at least everything falls off my record at about the same time.
