Arrangement Fee's

Options
Does anyone know of a bank or building society that are doing a good fixed rate mortgage with no arrangement fee please.

  • This isn't a recommendation as there are schemes available where you do have to pay arrangement fees but they are more cost effective over 2 years due to lower initial rates.

Have a look here, but remember there's a £295 mortgage discharge fee.

Thankyou so much for your help.

Do you have any other suggestions,

    Total mortgage £70k
    Value Of Property £250K

12 years left to run or could extend to 16 if necessary

    £23K repayment and £47K endownment.

    Thanks

    HI

I have been looking around and the best one I have found is with the Alliance and Leicester they have a FeeSaver mortgage at a rate of 5.19% fixed for 2 or 5 years, there are no fees at all. The only fee you may get is from your own bank for transfering your mortgage to a new lender, but they can add that to you mortgage if required.

Plus if you open an account with them on line they give you £25, or if you are an existing account holder they will give you £250 (be sneaky like me and set up an account first then have the mortgage)

The rates are lower than that now. Please note, from a pure monetary perspective, as I mentioned in this thread, there are more competitive deals around by paying some fees. (not saying this applies to existing customer though as I haven't checked)
