forfeits for 5/6 year olds....

Does anyone have any ideas for forfeits to put inbetween the layers for pass the parcel to drag the game out a bit!

I thought of singing a nursery rhyme or saying the alphabet in a silly voice etc but I've run out of ideas! I don't want anything that is too embarressing as some of the kids are a bit shy!

Thanks in advance

You could have them tell a joke or run round the circle before the rest count to 10 or have a pile of dress up clothes and they have to put 6 items on before the rest count to 10 etc.

Also you could try playing hot parcel where the parcel has only one layer of wrapping. When the music stops whoever is holding the parcel is out then start the process again.

Wearing a silly hat/sunglasses/deely boppers for the rest of the game (you could include these in the layers so that the parcel looks large)
    Dancing
    Doing an animal impression
You could have some nice "forfeits" - like sweets in some the layers so they don't get nervous

I did some action ones like hop/run/jump/skip round the circle.

Unfortunately a disabled girl got run round and obviously she couldn't. I had to scoop her up in my arms and do a really silly run and keep pretending I was going to drop her on the other childrens heads. It killed my back, but the girl and the other children thought it was hilarious :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....

I did a 'Pop Idol' concert at a kids party - got them all to pretend they were auditioning for Pop Idol - winner got a present - went down a storm.

How about do an impression of a teacher or someone from TV.

Pretend you are an animal and the others have to guess which one.

Repeat a silly phrase 5 times without laughing.

    Good luck!

Find certain things in the house - a plant, an apple, a clock etc.

I love the idea of getting dressed up...

You could do things like jump around the other children until the music stops again, cuddle the person next to you...

Put in a note pad & have to draw something for the others to guess...

Whatever make it lots of fun!
