...but on the clubcard website, it wont display my account balance, always says that it is currently unavailble...it used to work,but then suddenly stopped doing a few months ago...anyone got any ideas on what it could be?

Similar thing happened to me - all was running fine - points balance showed correctly then BAM - once I applied for a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card my balance shrank from 5000 ish points down to 494 or something daft. I rang the call centre and they assured me that although my balance was showing incorrect on line they had the correct number on their systems, so I made a note of it.
Two weeks later when my balance was still incorrect I rang up to see what my new balance was and they quoted me 1499 LESS than they had quoted the time before!!!! I quoted the name of the person and date I spoke to them and they WILL NOT honour the points.
By the Way - my points balance is STILL incorrect and I have little faith that the call centre will have my balance correct, SO i have saved all my transactions and have the name of one of the managers there to talk to should my points "disappear" again. I am waiting for my February mailing before I call him..
Good luck with your problem - its something else to add to the list though isnt it? Checking up on something that is supposed to be a loyalty bonus - now its another thing to take up time!
