Well, just got back from the shopping trip - exhausted! Came out of Matalan completely empty-handed, unfortunately, so ended up traipsing round Swindon - Primark, TKMaxx, etc etc - but did eventually get required black stuff, thank heavens :rolleyes: Wouldn't mind, but never got chance to look for anything for myself............

Hi, as previously mentioned I work at matalan and we have just marked more items down to £1 not that many items but worth a look if your going near there anyway. I got a large childs hoody but it will fit me for £1..bargain and a bath robe for my Dad £1, I know now there are no more intentions of any mark down but chances are some stores haven't got round to doing it so stuff will carry on going through the tills cheaper than expected.

General promo's change over soon so new offers are available soon, the stores are already preparing so the items that are on the end of the isles (if not already on offer) will prob be going on offer soon as thats how we do it.

I went into my local Matalan last week and bought 3 pairs of Lee Cooper Jeans for £1.00 each! They were originally priced up at £25 each, so I'm extremely pleased.

I just posted on the vouchers board that the new matalan leaflet came through my door and it has a £5 off £30 spend valid till 4th september- so if there is a sale on even better !
